Sweetheart Popcorn... just add red & pink

This post is a no-brainer...  I've posted white chocolate popcorn multiple times for MULTIPLE holidays.  It just doesn't get old around here.  For the basic recipe - click HERE.  For the "amped up" Halloween version, click HERE.

When I saw valentine candy corn the other day, I snagged a few bags because I knew it would be irresistible with this popcorn.  Wilton makes a lot of fun valentine sprinkles also.  They were pretty, but I noticed these were quite hard to chew.  Next time I will test them before I add them.  They were quite a contrast with the chewy candy corn.

Whenever I host a shower, a big bowl of popcorn to munch on goes a long way.  This was the table right next to the soup bar.  It was where everyone gathered to visit and snack after enjoying a bowl of warm soup last weekend.  I'll post the desserts in a few days.

Here is what I worked on yesterday (this is supposed to entice you into checking back over the next few days)  I'll post the cake recipe, the pastry cream, and lastly - the white chocolate "mousse" frosting starting tomorrow.    It was devoured at a good-bye party for one of my dear friends at the Conference Center today.

  1. I love that corn! I haven't seen that in my area this year. They don't have much selection for valentine themed candy in our stores this year! :(

    The cake is very pretty!
