Sesame Chicken Bites - nutty flavor with a tender crunch...

If you go for an unusual, but not overly crunchy breading on your chicken nuggets - you will love these.  The sesame seeds add such a nice, nutty flavor.  These can be fried OR baked - and we liked them both ways.  Baked is so much easier when you have a lot of other items to prepare at the same time.

The touch of parsley, along with the texture of the sesame seeds really set these apart from your usual chicken “nugget” type appetizer.   I tried these with regular bread crumbs (homemade of course), and then I tried half the batch with panko bread crumbs.  If you’ve never tried panko - you haven’t experienced coatings at their best!

I experimented by baking half, and frying the other half.  You get a better color by frying - but the flavor is just as good when baked.  Your choice...  If you like an extra crunch - you could also try my recipe for Panko-Crusted Chicken Bites HERE.  These are another great appetizer for any reason you can dream up!
