Fruit Dips - Sweet and/or Tart

It’s amazing how 50 degree weather makes me crave fresh fruit. With fresh strawberries and grapes going on sale this time of year, it’s a good idea to keep these fruit dips in the refrigerator. They stay fresh for a few weeks - and are so good with bananas and apples as well as your favorite “springy” fruits. If (or when) someone drops in for dinner, it’s easy to put this on the table and totally transform an otherwise dull meal.

Fresh fruit becomes it’s own “decoration” if you take the time to arrange it in creative ways. Fresh pineapple is available almost year round in the warehouse stores like Costco or Sam’s Club. When you cut off the top, try utilizing it as a base for fruit kabobs.
